Plitvice Lakes National Park Entrance 2 is 16 km away and Entrance 1 is 19 km, roughly a 15-20 minute drive, so you can set off early and avoid the crowds. The wider Lika region rewards a slower trip: the Gacka River, the watermill village of Rastoke, the Kuterevo bear refuge, the Nikola Tesla memorial centre in Smiljan, springs, caves and quiet walking and cycling routes.

By car, follow the D1 road through Korenica; free parking is on site and no reservation is needed. The nearest bus station is Jezerce - Mukinje, 14 km away, and a paid shuttle service can be arranged if you let us know your arrival time in advance.
